Mike Pardon gave me the heads up that on Google Earth you could make out the old track, apparantly some of their images are up to 5 years old and in the picture below you can clearly see the track layout. Brings a tear your eye 'eh?

Three Sisters Bmx Track
Hi everyone,
Many of you may not know but a few local bmx riders have formed a committee and are trying to push for a bmx track on the 'Three Sisters Recreational Ground'. At present we are trying to get funding and appreciation from other clubs and most of all the local community and businesses of Ashton and Wigan for there support. All we are asking is for people to get involved and show some support. There will be upcoming meetings and updates on this site; and you can also contact me for more information and other links concerned with the progress of the culb and track.
thanks....matthew glynn
